Kitchen Manufacturing Company
At the forefront of every project are company directors, Charlie Wilde and Travis Dean. Together, they share a wealth of knowledge and skill in furniture design and cabinetmaking, along with an unrelenting commitment to quality and design integrity.
Manufacturing for the Australian home since 2006, Cantilever projects include kitchen and whole home joinery packages for residential or commercial projects.
We believe in making locally, acting mindfully, minimising waste and designing products that will stand the test of time.
User-centered design is at the heart of what we do. Our Kitchen Systems are defined by four set products with careful consideration to end-user diversity. In our classic range we have K1, K2 and K3. In 2018, Tableau joined the Cantilever family, marking our first design collaboration with award-winning studio DesignOffice.
All our design and manufacturing methods are researched, prototyped, and tested pre-market.
Product adaptability means we can tailor our Kitchen Systems to meet the requirements of each project, whilst accommodating both manufacturing economy and client needs. We then continuously improve our product with new market technology.
Throughout the stages of design, manufacture and installation, the Cantilever Standards ensure our Quality Control Measures are met across all projects. All joinery comes with a seven-year warranty but if anything happens along the way, you know where our door is.
Our kitchens are thoughtfully made with quality hardwearing, long-lasting materials, hardware and finishes. When sourcing board, we preference Australian made products with low toxicity. For the finer details, we work with local trade specialists to fabricate our range of handles and sinks. To ensure hardware and laminate quality, we turn to our global market for inspiring products from reputable manufacturers.
Our materials are curated by surface durability and aesthetic longevity. A timeless palette of classic whites and native timbers lends itself to the changing environment. Understated design details add interest and dimension reminiscent of time-honoured mid-century furniture details.

In our workplace, we are committed to responsible business practices: minimising waste, improving air quality, and reducing toxicity of the materials we work with for our employees, for the environment and you.
